05-01-2004 Switching Wiki Software ?

I am considering switching blog software to the respected MediaWiki used on wikipedia for example. It's what I started with, but switched to WikkaWiki for a reason I no longer recall. I've been using MediaWiki for a project I'm currently working on, and have gotten very comfortable with it. So, if the look and feal of the Wiki changes all of a sudden, you will know why. I will also move all the pages, although that may take some time since the formatting isn't exactly the same.

04-01-2004 Wiki as a Blog ?

How practical is it to use a Wiki as a blog? Has anyone had any experience with it? Is there software to make WikkaWiki more usable as a blog? I'm planning on putting each blog entry into it's own page, then adding an {{include}} on the main page to enclude the blog entry. I guess I will need a page to keep tack of the older blog entries. Maybe someone has done this before and can comment. Worst case I'll start heavily modifying WikkaWiki to make it do what I want it to!
