Reselling Subdomains

You can resell subdomains of domains you own, but there is an extra step (in addition to the process of setting up a regular domain). You can use any of your WHM packages, or create a new one.

ClientExec

If you plan on using ClientExec, create a new "Package Type" in ClientExec and specify
Is this for a subdomain? Yes
Then create a new package, and link it to your WHM Package.
Now, you can either add this package to a client manualy, or have them sign up for it like normal.

Edit the DNS Entry for your Domain

Once they sign up, or you add it manualy, you must got to WHM->Edit DNS Zone

Choose the appropriate Domain

Click edit

Scroll down to the end of the list and add the new subdomain (Just refer to another subdomain to see how to set it). Make sure you add the newsubdomain and www.newsubdomian

It will then take some time for the new subdomain to propogate across the WEB. Some people will be able to access it very quickly, others may not be able to access it for hours.
