Speeding up Firefox

By changing a few settings, you can get firefox to download pages quicker (by allowing it multiple connections at once).
  1. In the address bar type "about:config" and hit return
  2. Find "network.http.pipelining" and set it to True
  3. Find "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and set it to 30 Allowing it to use up to 30 requests at once.
  4. Right-Click anywhere on the page and choose New->Integer
    • Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay"
    • Give it a Value of "0"
